I can’t believe it’s already Thursday. Here’s a picture of me reading in the back seat of our car with my little sister. I forgot to tell you that last week’s photo was of me reading with my new baby brother.
The books I read this week are:
The best book I read this week is The Sapphire Prism Cave by Peter M. Leschner. My mom won this book in a giveaway. The Sapphire Prism Cave is a long book with fifty chapters.
The book is about two twins named James and Julia. The book starts during summer vacation and James and Julia are going to go to Disneyland but, before they go on vacation James and his friend Robert go exploring in a cave with Misty, the dog. James tells Julia about it and together they visit the cave a lot. The cave gives James and Julia special super powers like brain messaging and lifting objects by putting their hands above the object. During one of their visits James is accidentally sucked through a wormhole into space, but he hits his head and forgets about his family. The rest of the story is about the family’s adventure wondering where James is and James’ adventure in space.
I liked The Sapphire Prism Cave because it’s an adventure and exciting. The book has lots of areas when unexpected things happen. The book has a very good plot and excellent characters. The only thing I didn’t like about the book was that the book ended.
Now it’s your turn. What was your favorite book this week?
