Today’s word for Five Minute Friday is “broken.” I suspect this is, in large part, due to the fact that Lisa-Jo’s website is completely unresponsive right now! This was an interesting word to write about. Here are our thoughts:
Age 8: This is her last week of being age 8! She asked me to tell you that it’s messy because she was hurrying, not because she doesn’t know how to write neatly. 🙂
Age 6: “I broke my tower this morning. I will draw a picture of it below.”
Age 3:
Mom: I love how their personalities and thoughts come through so amazingly in just five minutes! I’m so glad we’re doing this. It’s really been such a valuable journaling experience for us and continues to work wonders in their attitudes toward writing time. I think they really appreciate it that I am writing too. Have a great week!
I enjoyed your writing, emotions over “broken” and the drawings this morning!
I agree with “mom” – the personalities can be seen as you write and I love that you all take time to journal. What a fun experience! Loving all and so thankful for technology that keeps us close and that our family ties are not “broken” by distance. Keep on writing! I love it.
