I don’t know how many, if any of you, have been using our cut-and-paste calendar pieces, especially since I missed March! I was “gently” reminded that I needed to get the April pieces ready by Bignificent today.
She made the design decisions for me and decided she wanted to do a lion and lamb pattern since it was appropriate for our Lent and Easter studies and celebrations without being cheesy. I got these adorable lion and lamb images from Crayonbox Learning.
There are three pages of calendar pieces. The first are just pictures for students who need to practice writing their own numbers. The second page have the numbers already on them, and the third page includes lots of holidays including some bizarre ones I found on Holiday Insights.
You can find our free printable calendar base on which to glue these here.
Your kids can either glue the pieces right onto the paper or laminate the base and then sticky tack the calendar pieces onto it. My kids enjoy both ways.
