Welcome to Day 1 of our contributions to the Schoolhouse Review Crew’s 5 Days of Tips for Homeschool Parents Blog Hop! When I thought about what I had to add to the treasure trove of tips I have no doubt will come from the Schoolhouse Review Crew bloggers participating in this round-up, I came up pretty empty. We’ve had a pretty rough time finding our groove since baby #5 joined us a little over a year ago. We’re doing okay, but I certainly don’t feel like I’m in a great place to be offering tips other than HANG ON! YOU CAN DO THIS! IT’S NOT ALWAYS THIS BAD!
And I’m pretty sure none of you want to hear that for a week. So, I almost didn’t sign up to be a part of this. And then I had a brainstorm. I happen to have some pretty smart, pretty creative kids who are quite opinionated and know exactly how they want their homeschool day to look.
So I gave them each a writing assignment to make a list of tips they would give to homeschool parents. They did, and the lists are pretty awesome, (in my unbiased opinion).
They each videoed their lists, and we’ll be sharing one a day for the next three days. And then I’ll do a final wrap-up post on Friday with maybe just a few words of wisdom from me (if I have any by then!) If not, you might get to hear from the 3-year old and/or the baby. 🙂 We shall see how the week goes.
So, please come back tomorrow for our first video of Tips for Homeschool Parents…from Homeschool Kids! We think you’re going to love it!
UPDATE: Here are links to our posts for the week so they are easy to find:
- Day 2 – Tips from Bignificent
- Day 3 – Tips from Middlenificent
- Day 4 – Tips from Littlenificent
- Day 5 – What Mommy Learned from This Week
And don’t miss out on all the other posts in this round up. Each day, I’ll be sharing links to some of the other bloggers participating. I certainly can’t wait to read their posts, and I know you’ll be blessed by them as well!
